Deactivating the Electronic Stability Program (ESP)
The illustration shows a 2-axle bus as an example. In the case of 3-axle buses equipped with RAS, the 3rd axle is regulated separately as necessary.
Danger. RISK OF ACCIDENT. The bus may skid out of control if the Electronic Stability Program (ESP) has been deactivated and the drive wheels start to spin.

Press ESP OFF pushbutton (3).
It is recommended that the Electronic Stability Program (ESP) be deactivated using ESP OFF pushbutton (3) if traction problems are experienced when driving with snow chains fitted or over loose surfaces (e.g. sand or gravel).
Note: Pressing “ESP OFF” pushbutton (3) again or switching the ignition starter switch to OFF and back to ON reactivates the Electronic Stability Program (ESP).
