Swimming Finally the Year 12s – Nicholas Brown (12.5) was fantastic, winning five individual races (100 and 200 division freestyle, division 1 backstroke, division 1 butterfly and division 2 breastroke). Between him and Liam Pardini (12.4), it is hard to find a better combination. It was great to see these boys end their Trinity swimming career with some success. The atmosphere on pool deck was outstanding and much more animated than in previous years. It was great to see the boys enjoying themselves as a team and being led by some fantastic young men (Noah Harris (12.2), Finlay Koenig-Luck (12.2), Simon Nicoli (12.5), Joshua Zekulich (12.5) all come to mind).
I would like to thank all those who gave support to the 2013 campaign. Basil Psanadakis, who stepped into the manager’s role and immediately instituted a state of the art communication system, the coaches Siobhan Wilkins, Taylor Colton (’09), Jakeb Norman (’09), Bill Smith (’12), James Drewett (’12) and the parent body, without you this season would not have been anywhere near as successful. I would also like to thank Vic and Maschelle Pardini for their enormous support of swimming at TC over the past ten years. Mr Dion Mepham Head Swimming Coach
Eventually Trinity finished fourth. The boys were very proud of their efforts – and rightfully so. They had improved their point score by over 200 from 2012 and achieved an unusually high personal best count.
