Thirteen was packed with highlights Below I’ve named a few:

Our chess teams had two days of play One here in Gibney Hall. The Cs and Ds fought long and hard The Bs, they conquered all!

Boys fought to climb the ladder To try to reach the summit. The knockout for the trophies Caused many hearts to plummet.

Our 5s bussed off to Freo They had a ball and went’n Saw a fantastic storyteller By the name of Terry Denton.

He drew them lots of pictures Which he let them take away Told them how to write a book He made lots of fans that day.

We read Across the Universe For Book Week in Term 3 We all dressed up as space things And were a sight to see!

Wow! Origami Yoda! Its nerdy author is Tom A. We skyped with him across the miles, ‘Twas a very folding day!

Well that was the year that was But the best things you will find Were all the fantastic books we read We made movies in our minds!
