Year 6 Blue Mr Bernard Le Tessier Year 6 Blue
Again, the year has gone by at a rapid rate. This year I have had the great pleasure of seeing a group of enthusiastic and polite boys grow and develop into fine young men. There have been many highlights along the course of the year. In Term 1 the year group attended a leadership camp/ retreat at Camp Kelly in Dwellingup. This assisted in preparing the boys to receive the sacrament of Confirmation in their parish. Sporting highlights were many. Particularly meritorious events included the regaining of the Ian McRae Cup in the derby game against Aquinas. The Year 6 classes also experienced a very successful tour to Kalgoorlie. The boys learnt a great deal about the history and importance of the goldfields to the development of WA, and the camaraderie displayed was exceptional: really displaying that TC Spirit of being Men for Others. I look forward to following their continued growth and development throughout the Senior School.
One of my favourite memories was in Year 5 when we got an incubator and eggs. Our first chicken was called Usain Bolt because it was the first chicken to hatch. Every day we held them for about ten minutes. Trey Dawson My best memory was when the prefects decided to have an Amazing Race Trinity. My team was made up of Seb, Harry Z. and me. We figured out the puzzles and came first. Alexander Pagano My favourite was the Ian McRae Cup. Our whole team played well and it was a wonderful win. Following the game we had hotdogs and a drink. One of my best memories is going to the movies at the end of Year 5. We went to Fremantle and Hungry Jacks and we had ice cream and lunch. Matthew French I think one of my favourite moments in the Junior School was Unfair Day. You roam around the school, playing fun games. One of my favourite games to play was the Weet Bix challenge. Ryan Harris My favourite memories from the Junior School were the swimming carnivals. When I was in Year 4, swimming carnivals were all new to me because at my old school it was only interschool carnivals. Jack Harvey My favourite moment of Junior School was in Year 6 when we went to Kalgoorlie. To get to Kalgoorlie we went on the Prospector train. One of the days we dry-panned with crushed quartz. When I was panning I found two pieces of gold. Gaudi Robbins One of my favourite memories was when we went to the WACA for the cricket World Cup 2015 launch. We played a game of cricket on the WACA ground which was very fun. Kobe Jones The most memorable moment in the Junior School was Year 6 with Mr Thompson with our Bullying? No Way! video. I liked it because I did it with all my friends and we had fun when we were filming. Marcus McRostie
