Checking the tyre pressure and refilling the tyres

Read and observe: “Tyre pressure, safety instructions”.
• Park the machine on firm and level ground. Stand the working equipment on the ground. • Apply the parking brake. • Shut off the engine. • Before inflating the tyre, the wheel must be installed correctly on the machine or placed into an inflation cage (Fig. 1).

Inflating tyres 1. Make sure nobody is standing beside the tyre and that all other persons remain out of the hazard zone. 2. It is absolutely necessary to use a pressure hose with remote trigger and self-locking filling nozzle. 3. Keep on the side of the tread pattern when inflating the tyre. 4. Inflate the tyre to the prescribed pressure. Do not inflate the tyres to a higher pressure than specified. Î

• Attach a pressure hose with remote trigger and self-locking nozzle (3, Fig. 2) and pressure gauge (2) to the tyre filling valve (1, Fig. 2). • The prescribed inflation pressure (see “Tyre pressures”) can be read at the pressure gauge (2, Fig. 2) and corrected, if required.
