Danger of explosion

Never use white spirit, paraffin or other solvents to clean the tank. Highly inflammable, explosive gases are formed. Therefore, use only hydraulic oil or a special cleaning agent for cleaning and flushing the reservoir. Observe the instructions issued by the manufacturer of the cleaning oil.

Do not allow hydraulic oil to seep into the ground. Keep for reuse or dispose in accordance with local environmental regulations.

- Drain off hydraulic oil, see section “Draining off the hydraulic oil”. - Unscrew the breather filter (2, Fig. 7) and remove the return-flow filter (see “Hydraulic oil -

Replacing the return-flow filter”). - Place a collecting vessel for flushing oil under the hydraulic reservoir. - Clean the inside of the reservoir with hydraulic oil or with flushing oil. Thoroughly remove all deposits and cleaning agent residue. - Replace the O-ring seal underneath the cap (2). - Put the cap back in place. - Refit the cover plate below the hydraulic reservoir. - Fill with hydraulic oil.
