Adjustment of driver’s seat, safety instructions

The driver’s seat permits adjustment of inclination, height and fore-and-aft position. The suspension of the seat can be adjusted to suit the driver’s weight. The driver’s seat corresponds to the ISO Norm 7096:2008, EM 4 class < 1.1 as listed in Table 1 of ISO 7096:2008.

Risk of accidents Never adjust the seat while driving because it is distracting. Before adjusting the seat: - Stop the machine. - Select neutral direction of travel. - Apply the parking brake. - The locking levers of the fore-andaft position and of the backrest adjustment must engage in the desired position. - After locking, the driver’s seat and the backrest can no longer be moved into other positions.

Suspension of driver’s seat To avoid health risks for the driver’s back, the weight adjustment of the seat should be adapted before operator changes to the individual weight of the new driver.
