Air intake system
Read and observe: “Inspection and servicing, safety instructions”. Risk of injury from hot parts of the engine. Carry out servicing and repair work only after the machine has been secured as described under “Securing the machine” in these operating instructions.

Dust removal valve Check every day that the discharge slot of the dust removal valve (3, Fig. 2) is free.
Never start the engine when parts of the air intake system have been removed. Risk of damage to the engine if unfiltered air enters the engine. Fig. 2
The grader has a dry air filter with one main filter element and one safety filter element and a dust removal valve. The dry air filter is located under the engine hood behind the driver’s cab. The filter is accessible on the left-hand side of the machine after opening the hood.
Remove accumulated dust by squeezing the discharge rubber nozzle of the valve. Air filters without dust removal valve are equipped with a maintenance-free ejector (option). Î
