Parking the machine • Place attachment on a jig or on the ground.
• Turn the electrical system key switch to position 0 (ignition OFF) and remove the key.
• If the machine has to be parked on a slope: - Park the machine facing downhill and press the equipment into the ground.
• Secure the machine by placing chocks under the wheels.
• Park the machine on firm, level ground.
To prevent damage to the cylinders set the working equipment slowly down on the ground.
• Close the cab window.
• (Wheel chocks are supplied with the machine only in the StVzO version.) • Clean the machine to remove dirt. • Refill the fuel tank. • Visually inspect the engine, hydraulic system, axles and transmissions for leaks.
Do not shut off the engine out of full load, but rather let it run at idle for another three to five minutes to reduce the temperature. • Shut off the engine.
Escaping oil pollutes the environment. Repair leaks (or have them repaired) immediately. Oil accidents must be reported to the owner of the machine.
• Apply the parking brake. • Turn the electrical system key switch to position I (ignition ON).
• Lock up the cab door and all key-equipped flaps and shrouds of the machine.
• Move the control levers in all directions to depressurise the hydraulic cylinders.
• Check the machine and the working equipment for damage and all structural steel components for cracks or fractures. - Report any damage immediately to the owner.
• Set the control and gearshift levers to neutral (N). Wait 20 seconds after ignition shutoff before withdrawing the key from the key-switch to prevent loss of data in the electronic system.
