Lower and align the rod end of the slave cylinder into the boom end mount.
On the early models install the retaining plate (1), bolts (2) and then tighten.

On the late models, install the snap ring.
STEP 10 Remove the chain hoist and lifting strap.
STEP 11 Start the engine. Move the machine to an open area and park on a level surface. Apply the parking brake. Raise and lower the boom several times until all air is removed from the system. Cycle the tilt circuit back and forth. This will aid in removing air from the circuit. G1007018
Install the pivot pin into the rod end of the slave cylinder until the half moon end of the pin is positioned as shown.

STEP 12 Lower the boom and shut off the engine. Check for leaks. Correct any leakage found. Check the hydraulic fluid level. If necessary, fill to the correct level with the specified fluid.
