Raise the main boom to access the tilt cylinder and auxiliary hydraulic line fittings. Relieve the hydraulic pressure from the lines. Disconnect the hydraulic fittings. Cap and plug all fittings.

Step 9

Lower the boom onto the support stand (1). Using a chain hoist and lifting strap apply upward pressure on the front of the inner boom (2).

Disconnect the front lights wiring harness connectors (1). Remove the two mounting bolts (2) from the light bar. Remove the lights.

Step 11

Mark all inner boom wear pads for reassembly.

NOTE: Some pads may have shims.

Step

Remove the six top wear pad retaining bolts.
