BLEEDING PARK BRAKE
STEP 3
BEFORE cleaning, lubricating, or performing service on this equipment, refer to the MANDATORY SAFETY SHUTDOWN PROCEDURE in Section 100 (Personal Safety Information and Decal Locations).
Turn the engine off and check the hydraulic fluid level. Add hydraulic fluid if needed.
STEP 4 Test for proper park brake operation.

Install one end of a hose (1) onto the bleed screw (2) and place the other end of the hose into a drain pan.
STEP 2

Start the engine and de-activate the park brake switch. Open the bleed screw to relieve air in the system. Close the bleed screw and activate the park brake switch. Repeat the procedure until all air is removed from the system.
