BMA Shield PMC-R Operating Manual

Initiate auxiliary functions WARNING Mine safety procedures in regards to shield movement MUST be observed.

The main shield functions have their own PMC-R key assigned to them, however there are not enough keys for all the functions on the Shields, so the additional functions are accessed using this menu. When the adjacent shield is selected using or keys the display shows the “Auxiliary Functions” menu (This means that individual leg operation or Baselift control can be quickly and easily made by operators at any time, by pressing the

All possible operations are listed below. Pressing the Baselift

key extends the baselift cylinder.
