Initiate a remote Shield for slave operation

WARNING

Mine safety procedures in regards to shield movement MUST be observed. This feature allows operation of a Shield up to 5 Shields away from the operator using the adjacent control functions of the PMC-R.

1. To operate an auxiliary function an adjacent Shield must be selected pressing the

4. Press the key to decrease and the key to increase the distance to the shield you want to operate (adjacent shield, up to 5=5th adjacent shield).

In this example the has been pressed twice. (Assuming NbManDist = 0)

5. Finally to select the shield press the key.

In this example, the shield that is 2 shields away in the direction initially selected by the

or key will be placed into slave mode. The beeper will be heard and the shield can be operated from the Master PMCR.
