Initiate an adjacent flipper group

WARNING

Mine safety procedures in regards to shield movement MUST be observed.

1. Press to select Flipper Operation.

2. Select the side you want the function to operate with the or key.

In this example the ‘G’ key was pressed in No.16 Shield to select the adjacent flipper group. The display informs the operator that the currently selected group is shields 21 to 17 and the sequence will start at 21 and work towards 17.

3. Pressing , the operator can toggle between the directions that the flipper group function will operate.

4. Pressing , the operator can toggle between Extend and Retract.

5. Press , to begin the flipper group operation.

Press to stop the flipper group operation at anytime.

FLP: EXT 21 > 17

WARNING

If Anti-Collision is inactive it is possible to extend and retract the flippers in the shearer zone.
