This is a very open-ended brief. Unlike a lot of the other briefs that we have been given hasn’t got an issue or problem to solve, rather is far more creatively focussed. One way I could focus the brief would be to impose some limitations or constraints. This narrows the scope of the project, and allows a designer to create more ‘varied’ and ‘inventive’ solutions to a ‘problem’ [Stokes 2001].

As well as this, due to limited access to GSA facilities such as the metal and casting workshops, material selection will be limited. Due to this, I will conduct research into different and alternate materials that are easy to manufacture with equipment I have access to, or can be manufactured externally to GSA.
So What?
