In order to upload to the PDE collection website, I prepared 5 photos as well as a GIF in order to show my product in the best light possible. As well as this, I wrote a 74 word summary of the wallet. Within bigcartel I explored different layouts, trying to get as much impact as possible from the free tier, which limited customisation options such as amount of images allowed to be uploaded to the product page. I looked at including a slide show of product images, which is included in the free trial however decided against it required the user to scroll down to add the product to their basket. This would have meant more steps involved with the purchase of the product, a factor that I would seek to minimise. Instead I opted to use my poster as a splash image on the product page, as I thought it differentiated it from the pdecollection website, as well as showing off the graphic. I customised the font and text colour to match the theme of the poster as much as possible within the free tier of bigcartel. Overall i think my page looks professional and is easy to navigae.
