Exploring different packaging designs, I wanted to make it look as much of an experience to open as possible, whilst using as few adhesives as possible to make sure it can be fully recycled at end of life. This led me to explore different types of presentation box, taking inspiration from packaging I had on hand such as the T2 Tea 5 gift set. As well as this, I looked at a range of papers and cards I had in the flat in order to gauge the I wanted to add personality to the packaging without adding any non-recyclable materials and processes, and decided on using laser cut recycled 150gsm card. This is only usable for this small scale production as laser cutting is a relatively time intensive processes, however has low set up costs per item. If I was ever to make a large batch, I could use die cut packaging that had previously been printed.
