Route Management Manual To Use the Training Tool 10. Mount, align and tighten the second laser. 11. Repeat with the two lasers on the other side of the vehicle. 12. Mount the fifth laser on the front of the bumper. 13. To align the front laser, set a mark 53” in front of the outer edge of the bumper. 14. Align laser with the mark. Since there is no second mark in the front, the square will have to be estimated by sight.

1. To train the Raymond Courier, put the truck in programing mode and use the lasers as a guide. 2. During straight aisles, position the Raymond Courier so the hazard zone laser is lined up with the aisle boundaries or racking. This will keep the Raymond Courier a correct distance from the aisle boundaries, so as to not create a hazard zone. 3. If you need to train closer than the hazard zone, use the second beam on the side (stop field) as your guide. As long as nothing crosses this path, the Raymond Courier will not stop during normal operation. 4. If you do need to train closer than the hazard zone clearance allows, this will probably create a hazard zone and must be trained as such. The max speed for the Raymond Courier in any hazard zone is 0.3 m/s (0.67 mph). Please refer to the Route Management Manual for more information. 5. When training turns, make sure nothing crosses the stop path in front of the vehicle.
