To Use the Training Tool

Laser Locations

Figure67 and Figure68 show the recommended laser training tool locations and standard stop fields, based on load widths of 40” for the Model 3010 and 36” for the Model 3020.

If the load widths exceed these dimensions, the hazard laser width should be changed to allow room for 29” on both si des of the load. (20” of hazard zone + 6” path tolerance + 3” training tolerance).

If the load is wider than 40”, the side Alignment Laser for the hazard zone should be set to: 29" + 1/2 max load width - 18" (1/2 width of truck)

NOTE: Each laser dimension shown is meas ured from the outer edge of the bumper of the truck.
