Nodal Maps
Each discrete path has a unique ID nu mber. This ID number is useful when trying to edit or delete segments which have been previously trained on the Raymond Courier (see “Retraining Route Segments” on page85 ).
The ID number is followed by the length of the path and the date that the path was trained. The date is followe d by “0.00m Station Teach Composite”, which indicates the beginning of the section.

The next section lists any behaviors which were trained in that path as well as their location along that path. For example, a Drop 201 was trained 10.08 meters along the path between stations 803 and 804.
Some paths may have additional inform ation listed such as location of the Turn Signal being activated. The nodal map should be compared against the facility route map as the first st ep in the verification process.
Creating a Nodal Map
Do the following to create a Nodal Map:
1.Insert a USB drive in the USB port under the VGU. Wait 20 seconds for the Raymond Courier to recognize the USB drive.
2.Enter Service Command #35 (no variab les). The data will be transferred to the USB drive.
3.When the transfer is complete, wait 20 seconds to make sure all the data has been transferred correctly.
4.Remove the USB drive. Two files are created that can now be opened on a PC:
•“path-network.xls” is the excel spreadsheet that may be easier to use when troubleshooting.
•“path-network.pdf” is the pictorial PD F file that is typically used for route verification.
NOTE: The ID number for each segment is automatically generated by the Raymond Courier. This ID number is useful for deleting routes previously taught if they cannot be over-ridden.
