Appendix A: Laser Training Tool To assist the operators with the training of the Raymond Couriers, a Laser Training Tool was developed. This tool can be mounted on a truck and set to project a laser line an adjustable distance from the truck.

Appendix A: Laser Training Tool
This Laser Assembly uses a Class IIIB moderate power laser (cw: 5-500 mW, pulsed: 10 J/cm2 or the diffuse reflection limit, whichever is lower). In general Class IIIB lasers will not be a fire hazard, nor are they generally capable of producing a hazardous diffuse reflection, however specific controls are recommended. Eye protection should be worn. Persons unnecessary to the laser operation should be kept away. Direct exposure on the eye by a beam of laser light should always be avoided with any laser, no matter how low the power.
