Use a soft bar and maul to drive the output shaft forward and through the rear bearing assembly.
2.
From the auxiliary housing rear, remove the rear bearing retaining capscrews, cover, and gasket.
3.
Clean the gasket mounting surface of gasket material.
4.
Inspect the rear bearing cover oil seal for damage, remove if damaged.
