A vise with brass jaws or wood blocks
Procedure 1.
Retainer rectangular in shape. From the output shaft, remove the 15/16" capscrew and retainer. Retainer round in shape. From the output shaft, remove the 15/16" capscrew and retainer, and thrust washer.
2.
From the output shaft, remove the auxiliary drive gear. If the retainer, from Step 1, is round, there will also be a thrust washer behind the auxiliary drive gear to remove.
