Max Broock, REALTORS® Age: 29 Number of Years in Real Estate: 7 Why did you decide to get into real estate?
I was fortunate to discover my passion for real estate at a very young age. I remember looking at houses with my parents when I was 13 and absolutely loving every minute of it. I worked as a receptionist at CENTURY 21 Town & Country as soon as I legally could work. Every summer in college I interned at a new real estate company to continue to learn about different brokerages. Ultimately, my desire to build relationships and problem-solve is what I love about being in real estate. More recently, I have discovered that I really admire the architecture and design aspects of real estate. What are you most excited about in your life right now?
The realization that this is just the beginning! 2020 has opened my eyes to the endless opportunities realproducersmag.com
that are out there. From a business perspective, I have a few business plan/marketing ideas that are new and pushing me out of my comfort zone. I am really excited to dive into a leadership role as president of Women’s Council of REALTORS® Birmingham-Bloomfield Network. From a personal perspective, I am thrilled about some of the places I am crossing off my travel bucket list. I’m also really, really, really excited to learn how to play piano! Who has helped you get where you are today?
My mom has been my inspiration, and she continues to be my #1 cheerleader. I probably talk to her five times a day; somehow she just always knows the right thing to say, even if I don’t want to hear it. She raised three kids, consistently nationally ranked in top sales in the pharmaceutical field in the 90s-2000s and never missed a dance performance of mine. She taught me that, yes, I can do it all — twice, and in heels.
