Why did you decide to get into real estate?

Because graduating with a finance degree amidst a financial crisis in 2009 didn’t produce many options for employment.

What does success mean to you?

Knowing that I have impacted the lives of others in a positive way.

What are you most excited about in your life right now?

That I can go out to dinner at restaurants again.

What do you do to stay grounded/centered/sane?

Surround myself with family and close friends who don’t hesitate to tell me I’m wrong. And golf — lots of golf when possible.

How did your challenges shape who you are today?

They forced me to realize that nothing is guaranteed and that if you’re not willing to work hard for something, somebody else will replace you.

What drives or motivates you?

Reaching my maximum capacity. Being the best based on my own metrics, not what others determine to be the “best.”

Who has helped you get where you are today?

Many, many people. If I didn’t have the help of family, friends and mentors, nothing I have today would be possible.
