Why did you decide to get into real estate?
A family friend who has been a top-producing agent for 30 years said I reminded her of herself when she was younger and that I should give it a try. I’m so glad I did!
What does success mean to you?
Success to me is doing what you love and being authentic while you do it.
What are you most excited about in your life right now?
I’m in the process of doing a full renovation on a house I purchased in Downtown Royal Oak. The transformation is truly amazing.
What do you do to stay grounded/ centered/sane?
In this business, it’s so easy to let things affect you. When I start to get to that place, I stop, take a deep breath and say, “Life could be a lot worse.” Yoga really helps.
When are you at your best?
After a well-rested night of sleep. I need my eight hours!
What drives or motivates you?
Success and financial independence. I don’t want to have to be a burden or rely on anyone but myself.
Who has helped you get where you are today?
My family and friends. I couldn’t have asked for a better support system — they are truly amazing.
As a 2021 Best-in-Class honoree, what are your words of wisdom for the next generation of real estate agents?
Success takes time — it doesn’t happen overnight. The more you put into this business, the more you will get out of it. Build those connections everywhere you go. Don’t be afraid to ask for help. Most importantly, stay positive and don’t give up.
