Why did you decide to get into real estate?
My mother has been selling real estate for 26 years — the combination of her success and my love for helping people fulfill their dreams of homeownership is the main reason I chose real estate as a career. After deciding to move on from racing Motocross, I felt I needed to do something that allowed me to control my destiny. I knew if I worked hard, I would be successful.
What does success mean to you?
My definition of success is more than just financial — success to me is being able to help people all while being able to enjoy life with my family and friends. Being financially stable allows me to do all of these things, so that is the financial part of my success definition.
What are you most excited about in your life right now?
I was able to marry the love of my life this summer so that is number one. With a baby on the way now, I am most excited about growing our family.
What do you do to stay grounded/ centered/sane?
I love to golf and hunt. The fact that I can do these things with friends and family makes it all that much better.
When are you at your best?
I am at my best when I am problem-solving. It’s not always the most enjoyable time, but I seem to always find a resolution and enjoy the challenge.
How did your challenges shape who you are today?
You cannot learn without failure. Keeping a positive “never-quit” mindset is a must, and that is what has helped me most.
Who has helped you get where you are today?
My mother and father — their hard work, undying love and priceless teachings formed me into the person I am today!
