Why did you decide to get into real estate?

I was heavily encouraged to pursue a career in real estate by a friend/mentor who had experience in the industry. After further consideration, I realized it was the perfect fit for me as I was studying marketing, psychology and English at the time while working with others as a tennis instructor through college. Coming from a family of builders, I had a lot of prior knowledge, which made it easy for me to hit the ground running.

What does success mean to you?

To me, success means finding something you’re passionate about that positively influences others to the point of recognition, whether recognized on a large or small scale.

What do you do to stay grounded/ centered/sane?

From spring through fall when the weather permits, I play a lot of tennis, and during the winter, I usually play squash and paddle tennis four-to-five days a week. Also love to mix in golf and trail running.

When are you at your best?

I’m at my best when things are busiest and most chaotic. I work better under pressure.

What drives or motivates you?

My personal and professional goals constantly motivate me. Knowing that there is a new opportunity every day is something I am very thankful for.

Who has helped you get where you are today?

My family and friends — I have great people in my life! My mentor Gerald Salerno has been an incredible influence as well as my managing brokers and peers at Max Broock Birmingham. I began my career at Max Broock, and there’s a reason why I’m still there.
