CAUTION
Do not let the all thread rod to unscrew from the spring plate until all pressure has be released from the springs.
8. Remove hub cap (9), roll pin (8), slotted nut (7), washer (6), and roller bearing (25) from yoke (22). 9. Separate base (1) and yoke (4) removing felt seal (3) and thrust bearing (2). 10. Remove spacer washers (19) and ball bearings (20) from wheel (21).
3. Inspection NOTE! CLEANLINESS! Perform procedures in a clean environment. Make sure all parts are cleaned before disassembly and kept clean during assembly. 1. Thoroughly clean all parts and remove all nicks and burrs with emery cloth. WARNING Be extremely careful when working with solvent. Even a small explosion or fire could cause injury or death. WARNING Compressed air used for cleaning MUST be reduced to less than 30 p.s.i., and then only with effective chip-guarding and personal protective equipment. 2. Inspect all bearings, pins, springs and frame. Replace as needed. Replace all seals. 3. Inspect (4) mounting bolts and replace as needed.
