then the negative wire from the lift solenoid coil is connected to the BDI/HM/Lift interrupt gauge. If the battery voltage is above the lift interrupt threshold voltage then the lift solenoid coil negative is connected to battery negative internally through the gauge/controller. If the battery voltage is below the lift interrupt threshold voltage then the lift solenoid coil negative will not be connected to battery negative inside the gauge/controller. When the lift solenoid closes positive battery voltage is supplied through the 110 amp circuit breaker and the lift solenoid to the lift motor. The other side of the lift motor is connected to battery negative and so the motor starts running and the lift pump rotates. When the pump motor runs the pallet forks will raise. When the pallet forks reach their maximum raised height the lift limit switch will be activated and open the connection between the lift switch and the lift solenoid coil. The lift contact will open and the lift motor will turn off.
2.10. Lower pallet forks
When the lowering switch bar is pushed the lowering switch closes and positive battery voltage is supplied to the lowering solenoid valve coil through wire number 4. The other side of the coil is connected directly to battery negative through wire number 13 and so the solenoid valve energizes to release the oil in the lift cylinders, and the pallet forks lower.
