WARNING Compressed air used for cleaning MUST be reduced to less than 30 p.s.i., and then only with effective chip-guarding and personal protective equipment.
2. Disassembly 1. Before disassembly, thoroughly clean exterior of the caster assembly in a cleaning solvent to remove all contamination. WARNING Be extremely careful when working with solvent. Even a small explosion or fire could cause injury or death. WARNING Compressed air used for cleaning MUST be reduced to less than 30 p.s.i., and then only with effective chip-guarding and personal protective equipment. 2. Remove screw (24) and washers (23) securing axle (18) in yoke (22). Drive axle (18) from yoke (22) slide though wheel assembly. 3. Insert two 0.25 in. all thread rod through the holes in frame (4). Screw rods into spring plates (14).
CAUTION
Be sure the rods are fully screwed into the spring plates.
4. Install a washer and nut on all thread rods, using nuts to compress springs (12 and 13). 5. After all springs are compressed, remove screw (11), washer (10) and pin (5) from frame (4). 6. Remove wheel frame (22) from frame (4). 7. Carefully loosen nuts on the 0.25 in. all thread rods to release the compression of springs (12 and 13).
