ine Stadt häuft so allerhand Besitz an: Straßen, Kanäle, Schulen und Kindergärten, Sportplätze, Friedhöfe und was sonst so zum Funktionieren einer Gemeinde wichtig ist. Doch Innsbruck verfügt neben all diesen Dingen über eine Besonderheit: sechs Almen. Sie sind zu fast jeder Jahreszeit beliebte Ausflugsziele. Die größte Ansammlung an Stadtalmen findet sich am Südhang der Nordkette: Wer mit der Bahn auf die Seegrube fährt, der hat es im Abstieg nicht weit W zur nächsten Alm.

But Innsbruck has a special feature besides all these things: six alpine huts (‘alms’). They are popular excursion destinations at almost any time of the year. The largest number can be found on the southern slope of the Nordkette. You will not have far to walk if you take W the train to the Seegrube.
