Structure of NVA NVA lives and breathes a structure of servant leadership. This means that NVA’s resources exist to support the needs of each location. In other words, NVA is here to support you, your hospital, and the team, the medicine, and of course, your patients and clients. We are guided by NVA’s investors who sit on a Board of Directors along with our C-Suite team: Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Greg Hartmann, President and Chief Operating Officer (COO) Brian Kelly, Chief Development Officer (CDO) Steve Ager, Chief Finance Officer (CFO) Peter McPhee, Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) Laura Koester, Chief Information Officer (CIO) Joe Leggio, Chief People Officer (CPO) Soo Hong, Chief Community Officer (CCO) Turpin Mott, and General Counsel Eric Smith. NVA’s support is provided through two main avenues: 1. Our Support Center located in Agoura Hills, CA and 2. Our Field Operations teams located regionally to effectively support all our locations: 1. The NVA Support Center is located at 29229 Canwood Street, Suite 100, Agoura Hills, CA 91301, and houses over 750 team members. Departments and resources include: Administration; Learning and Development; People and Talent Services and Total Rewards; Payroll; Accounting and Finance; Marketing; IT and HelpDesk; Client Service Center (CSC – Call Center); Legal; and Business Development. You can look forward to visiting the Support Center and meeting many of your key resources during your first year with NVA when you attend a Hospital Manager workshop. There is a Managing DVM workshop too. 2. NVA’s Field Operators are regionally oriented to provide on-site long-term support to you and your hospital. The Operators may not live in your town or your state but will visit and interact frequently. In partnership with you, they are responsible for assisting in maintaining and developing operations and the ongoing fiscal success of your hospital. The Operations team is headed by NVA’s President and COO, Brian Kelly and then three areas that are supported by Group Presidents: General Practice (GP), Sohail Malad; Specialty+ER and Equine, Lemar Height; and Pet Resorts, Anne Stanchfield. The United States is divided into regions that Vice Presidents of Operations for GP oversee: West by Jeff Poirier, Northwest and Central by Scott Lesht, Southeast by Rhonda Kratz, East by Andy Crish, Great Plains by Kiran Weaver, East Central by Brent Trinacty. From there, Regional Divisions* are comprised of a Director of Divisional Operations (DDO) or Division Leader (DL), Manager of Regional Operations (MRO), and Associate Manager of Regional Operations (AMRO). Some regions have Peer Development Partners to further support hospitals at the local level. *A map of the Groups and Regional Divisions can be found on the next page.
