401(k) Plan –Empower Retirement Online Enrollment System
Eligibility: All NVA employees are eligible to participate in our 401k plan – there are no age or minimum hour requirements. Initial eligibility dates are as follows and one and employee reaches their initial eligibility date, they can then log in to www.retirementsmart.com and create and account.
On or after your hospital's eligibility date, employees may create an account by going to the website www.Retiresmart.com and clicking on “Create Account”. They will answer some identity verification questions, and then create a log in and pin. Empower Retirement will mail each of your team members with information near your eligibility date (but they do not need the paper postcard to enroll).
Payroll Contributions: Participants can log in and set up, change, or stop their 401(k) contributions in the Empower website at any time. Changes in employee elections will be updated by the NVA Benefits team and reflected on team member paychecks within 2 pay cycles.

Rollovers: Team Members wishing to roll over funds from another account can contact Empowers Rollover Specialists at 1-888-526-6905.
Loans and Investment Changes: Participants can request loans directly through the Empower website. Participants can also re-allocate their current account balance or designate investment selections going forward at any time.
