Pre-Employ

Pre-Employ manages the background and drug screening programs for all NVA hospitals. NVA recommends that you do pre-employment drug and background screens on all new applicants (please do not screen employees already working at the hospital when you joined NVA).

Shortly after you join NVA, you will receive an email from Pre-Employ with your login information and training information. For the training, you will need to be at a computer with internet access.

Andrea Johns with Pre-Employ will email and End User Certificate Form. Once completed, return it to Andrea at ajohns@pre-employ.com.

Prior to requesting a screening on an applicant, please have them complete the background release form also on the following pages. The cost per applicant for both background and drug screenings can be found below; we recommend only testing applicants you intend to hire. You will need an applicant's social security number and permission (by filling out the attached disclosure authorization form) to run the screenings so advise the candidate that their employment offer is contingent upon their passing the background and drug screenings (if applicable).

Should a candidate come back positive or with a background hit and you are interested in hiring, please contact your HR Specialist to discuss further.
