NVA provides several retirement options with a 1% match through Empower Retirement: www.retiresmart.com.

Eligibility

All employees, regardless of age or number of hours worked, are eligible to enroll in NVA’s Retirement Plan options.

Enrolling

Before your eligibility date you can roll funds from another plan into Empower Retirement, but you cannot create your online account access until after your eligibility date below:

Empower Retirement will mail out an Enrollment postcard to employees’ home addresses (on file in ADP) before their eligibility date and our Benefits Team will also email an electronic version of the enrollment materials to Hospital Managers at least one week before the eligibility date.

Enrollments and contribution changes are paperless. Employees sign up and start/ change contribution amounts online, upon which NVA's plan administrator will update the deductions in payroll for you.

Rolling Over Funds

To rollover funds from an existing retirement account, email 401k@nva.com to request the form. When completed, please email the form to 401k@nva.com to get our plan administrator’s signature. Please send your rollover check to Empower Retirement directly. The check and form can arrive separately.
