Payroll
Upon joining NVA you will transition to our online payroll system through ADP as well as sync with our payroll calendar. The calendar can be found on the next page. Below are some key points for you to know:

You/Hospital Manager are in charge of your Hospital's payroll being completed!
• Prior to joining NVA, you will have a call with Evan Olson where you’ll discuss your employee census to ensure that it’s complete and accurate as well as 401(k) gross-ups applied (if applicable), federal/state/local tax setup, discuss advances (if needed) and ensure Employment Agreements (EAs) are in place
• NVA pays on bi-weekly periods giving you 26 pay periods per year • Payroll weeks are from Sunday at 12:00am through Saturday 11:59pm each week • Hospital Managers must enter hours/data is entered by end of day on the Monday following the period end • Pay days are Fridays o Direct deposit typically hits at 12:01AM o Live checks and pay stubs (for direct deposits) typically arrive the Thursday prior to pay day via FedEx • Direct deposit is optional for all employees (form in accounting guide) o Everyone's 1st check from NVA will be live; 2nd period will start direct deposit if opted for • ADP is our online payroll system o Website: o Note: access will not be available until training day • Your 1st payroll with NVA: Please refer to the onboarding timeline--Evan will contact you after close to confirm the census details; the census data is loaded into ADP; a ADP Representative will work on the 1st payroll with you and train you on the 2nd payroll • ADP contact: • The following states will have separate payroll accounts for DVMs and support staff: o Alabama o Arkansas o Iowa o Idaho o Kansas o Louisiana o Massachusetts o Minnesota o Michigan o North Carolina o New Hampshire o New Jersey o New York o Oregon o Texas o Washington • After the first payroll any new employees or changes to employee information will be completed by the
