DVM Production

Some of your DVMs may be paid on production. This means they receive compensation as a percent of what they made for the hospital. Whether they are on production pay or not depends on what their Employment Agreement details which was created based off of their pre-NVA compensation process. We will provide you with copies of each DVMs agreement once it is available and, Evan Olson who is our Payroll Manager for Transition Hospitals, will reach out to train you on how to calculate and submit production post-close. This training typically happens via a phone call about 1 month post-close.

Some Associate DVMs who are paid production also have a base salary which is guaranteed each pay period--this type of compensation model is called pro sal. Often the Sellers are on production only which means they do not have a base salary and are paid purely off of revenue they bring in for the hospital.
