IT
NVA has an IT helpdesk available for your team 24/7! Please feel free to contact them for more urgent matters via phone at: 888-777-7804 Option #2 For less urgent matters please email the helpdesk at helpdesk@nva.com - they will get back to you quickly!
Note that the IT Helpdesk is for technology matters only. While they are very helpful, prior to your hospital converting to our network, some of their support may be limited.
Local IT Support
NVA's IT team is great but also remote (in California). So, we ask for you to keep your local IT person around for times when support is needed physically on-site. Often NVA's IT team will coordinate needs with your preferred local IT contact.
Email & Passwords
Hospital Leaders will each receive an NVA email address. Please be sure to check this email at least once a day as NVA will send all internal communications through these emails. In the first week you join NVA, our IT team will connect with you to setup this email account on your local computer through outlook. • Outlook via web is accessible here: https://outlook.office.com • Your email address will likely be setup as follows: firstname.lastname@nvanet.com • Your password to start will likely be: Welcome1! --you will be prompted to change this password upon first login • The following pages share how to setup your mobile device with your NVA email--for help please contact the IT helpdesk
If your hospital has an email address or domain that you use to communicate with clients, we recommend keeping that in place for now. This way you can continue to communicate with clients in a method they are familiar with and does not distinguish you as NVA.
Your general NVA and email password will be prompted to change about every three months.
