Transitioning to NVA While we look to keep your hospital's medicine and culture the same, joiningNVA is still a time of change. This can be both an exciting opportunity as well as a time of nervousnessand apprehension. The good news is that you have an entire team of people to support you and ensurea smooth transition to NVA. The NVA Transition Team will be with you every step of the way during the four-month transition process. It is our goal to ensure that you and your team know what to expect during this time, know who to contact, get your questions answered, and feel at ease about this change. Before joining NVA you will meet with a designated Transition Manager (TM) as he/she will join you at your hospital to host a Staff Welcome Meeting. Your TM will then be your primary contact and support for anything you need during the four-month transition period. During these months, your TM will facilitate setup, access and training, answer questions, help direct you to resources, share about NVA, and support you in any other items that may arise. To note: • The Transition Timeline on the next several pages provide a schedule of what you can expect during the transition and by whom. • Your Transition Manager (TM) will facilitate your transition process and be your main point of contact; however, several other team member specialists from NVA’s Support Center who are dedicated to transitioning hospitals will be reaching out by phone and email on various items. • Your TM will likely not be onsite with you Day 1 post-close nor will he/she be there for several weeks at a time; he/she will ensure you are ready for Day 1 with NVA by checking in and then will come to visit in 2-4 weeks. • Your TM will likely visit you 1 or 2 times during your 4-month transition period with additional support visits from your Peer Development Partner whom you will meet later. The timeline on the next few pages will give you an idea of who will be contacting you, for what and at what point in the transition. Please note that this timeline is fluid. Meaning, that individuals will contact you within the timeframe listed but not necessarily “on day one” for example. Your TM will ensure these items take place in a timely manner, accurately and that you receive all the training and support you need on each.
