12.3 Description Lift The system has two electric valves, one for fork lifting (Y34) and one for support arm lifting (Y52). By opening the valve for the fork lift (Y34) and at the same time running the pump motor (M3), the forks' lifting motion takes place. When the load is in the lifted position, it is held in place by the closed valve (Y34). The speed of the fork lift depends on the weight of the load. A hose rupture valve is located at the lift cylinder to prevent the load from falling uncontrollably in the event of a hose rupturing. To lift the support arms, the valve for the support arm lift (Y52) is opened at the same time that the pump motor (M3) is run. The support arms are kept in the lifted position by the closed valve (Y52).
Lowering To lower the forks, both the valve for fork lifting (Y34) and the electric lowering valve (Y41) must be opened. To lower the support arms, both the valve for support arm lifting (Y34) and the lowering valve (Y41) must be opened. The flow control valve regulates the maximum lowering speed and the non-return valve prevents leakage through the pump. A pressure limit valve (overflow valve) prevents overload and at the same time protects the pump motor from overpressure.
Operating pressure Operating pressure at rated load is 180 bar.
Pressure limit valve The pressure limit valve opens at 200 bar.
