Electrical systems – 5000 Parameters
# 20 - Hour meter selection
This parameter determines which hour meter mode to display during normal use.
Table 20: Hour meter parameter selection
Value Description Display
1 Key time:
Total time truck has been switched on.
2 Activity time:
Combined time either pump or drive motor has been in operation.
(Default display mode.)
3 Drive motor time:
Total time drive motor has been in operation.
4 Pump motor time: Total time pump motor has been in operation.
5 Remaining time to next service.
(Parameter #25 controls the initial value.)
See “#25 - Service interval” on page 48 for more information.
# 21 - Battery size
This parameter matches the discharge indication to the characteristics of the battery fitted.
Instructions for verifying parameter setting
•Fully charge the battery.
•Use the truck in its normal application until the battery indicator shows an empty battery (0% on the display).
•Remove the battery from the truck and allow to rest for at least two hours. NB! No charging or discharging during this period.
•Measure the battery acid’s specific density at room temperature. If the specific density is less than 1.15 g/cm3, the parameter value must be reduced. If the value significantly exceeds 1.15 g/cm3, the risk of damage to the battery is reduced. At the same time, the operating time of the truck is reduced. If a longer operating time is required, the parameter value can be increased by a maximum one step.
•Each change must be accompanied by a new verification of the parameter setting.
The acid’s specific density can vary depending on battery brand.
