Driving on public roads
x Turn the levelling blade into travelling position (Fig. 2) so that the blade does not project over the dotted line. x For driving on public roads, the brake-pressuredependent gearbox cutout function must be off (see section "Brake-pressure-dependent gearbox cutout function")
For driving on public roads, the specific Road Traffic Regulations applicable in the country of use must be observed. Our Service will be pleased to answer any queries in this respect.
Take the following steps before driving on public roads: x Clean the machine to remove gross dirt. x Block the center-pivot joint. x Check the brakes, steering, tyres and the lighting system. x Switch off the floodlamps. x Lower the splash-guards on the front wheels (Fig. 1)

x Check the wheel lean hydraulic cylinder for proper operation. For checking, move control lever (72, Fig. 3) several times from limit stop to limit stop.
