Checking / replacing the fuses Shut off the engine and turn the keyswitch of the electrical system to "0" before removing fuses. Replace defective fuses only by fuses with the same current rating.

In the event of an electrical function failing, check first the corresponding fuse: - Withdraw the fuse from the holder. - Check the fuse. In most cases, the molten wire of a defective fuse is visible to the naked eye (Fig. 1).

In case of doubt, check the fuse for integrity with an ohmmeter or replace right away by a new one.

Opening the fuse cover

Fig. 1 - If the fuse is defective, install a fuse with the same current rating in the holder. - If the fuse is not defective check the electric module, the connector and the cables (or have them checked).

The fuses and the relays are located on the right beside the driver's seat and are housed in 4 boxes (Fig. 2).
