Parking the machine
Park the machine on firm, level ground. Stand the working equipment on a support or on the ground. If the machine has to be parked on a slope: - Park the machine facing downhill and press the equipment into the ground.
To prevent damage to the cylinders set the working equipment slowly down on the ground.
Do not shut off the engine out of full load, but rather let it run at idle for another 3 minutes to 5 minutes to allow for cooling.
Shut off the engine. Apply the parking brake. Turn the key-switch of the electrical system to position I (ignition ON) Move the control levers in all directions to depressurize the hydraulic cylinders. Set the control and gearshift levers to neutral (N).
Wait 20 seconds after ignition shut-off before withdrawing the key from the key-switch to prevent loss of data in the electronic system. Cut out the battery main switch and withdraw the switch lever. Close the cab window.
Secure the machine by placing chocks under the wheels.
(Wheel chocks are supplied with the machine only in the StVzO version). Clean the machine to remove gross dirt. Refill the fuel tank.
Inspect the engine, hydraulic system, axles and gearboxes visually for leaks.

Escaping oil pollutes the environment. Repair leaks (or have them repaired) immediately. Oil accidents must be reported to the Owner of the machine.
Lock up the cab door and all key-equipped flaps and shrouds of the machine.
Check the machine and the working equipment for damage and all structural steel components for cracks or fractures. - Report any damage immediately to the Owner.
