Preserving the water spraying system To avoid damage caused by frost and corrosion when parking the machine for long periods of time, not only should the tank be drained and the filters, pumps and hoses emptied, but the water system should also be preserved. An appropriate anti-corrosion and antifreeze mix should be used for this purpose. - Unscrew filter housing (1), fill with the mix and refit as usual. - Close shut-off valve (2), remove intake hose (3) and connect with filler tank (4). - Fill filler tank with the mix and suspend or hang at a point higher than the pump. - Start the engine - Use switch (5) to activate water pump, vent the-high pressure pump (O) at screw (6). - Switch off pump as soon as the drawn in mix exits the spray nozzles. - Switch off engine. - Refit filler tank screw connection on shut-off valve.
