Controller Functional Description The entire drive system is controlled by the CANION, which monitors the movements of the travel and pump motors.
Battery
Two ACS controllers, one respectively for travelling and lifting, convert the battery voltage into a threephase AC current. This ensures that the preset / preselected speeds of the AC motors are maintained. The drive controllers communicated with the truck computer via the CANOPEN bus. Each motor is fitted with a speed sensor (sensor bearing) which creates a cyclical sequence in proportion to the motor speed. The sensor bearing creates a control signal which is used by the controller to govern the speed of the motors.
