Starting an Adjustment
Selecting an Axle for Adjustment
To access adjustment mode, press the ESC and ENTER keys (on the diagnostic display) simultaneously for 3 seconds.
Adjustment can only be started if a valid axle number 1 is selected.
Quit adjustment mode Hold down for 3 seconds
Axle number-1 Axle number +1 Start adjustment
Adjustment mode can be selected from a range of special functions on the diagnostic display by first pressing the PLUS or MINUS key to display the “alignment” item and then pressing ENTER. On entering a password 0167 (password for Teach In mode only) an angle transmitter can be selected for adjustment. Adjustment must only be carried out by trained personnel.
Press the PLUS or MINUS keys to select an axle. On the present steering system only axle 1 can be selected. For adjusting steering system SLC 018 305 the following angle transmitters are available: • Angle transmitter on ¯ “axle 1”
