Axle Adjustment In axle adjustment (angle transmitter adjustment) the voltage assignment of the angletransmitter to the forward position or the maximum left and right angles of the axle is stored in the steering computer. STOP
The axles move during angle transmitter adjustment!
STOP
When setting the axle pivot range, make sure that the axle cannot move.
If the voltage levels of the end of range have not been learned, an error message “61, 43, 01” (adjust angletransmitter track 2, left adjustment, crawl speed) or “61, 44, 01” (adjust angle transmitter track 2, right adjustment, crawl speed) is issued. In order to learn the angle, simply turn the axle slowly from the centre to the far left, then to the far right and back to the centre. After adjusting the centre, sensor B must always be learned.
This can be achieved for example by switching off the power supply or by blocking the axle.
STOP
The valid factory parameter set must be installed in the steering computer before adjusting the axle!
In normal steering mode the steering computer reverts to the stored values of the angle transmitter in order to calculate the axle angle. The angle transmitter has two ranges. Sensor A has a large angle measurement range with reduced resolution, sensor B has a high angle resolution with a reduced measuring range. To learn the centre position and axle stops, the centre positions of both sensors, but initially only the axle stops of sensor A, are adjusted. The end of range for sensor B is learned during operation on the basis of the angle calculated through sensor A.
